ABOUT US
Established in 2017, House of Handsome Norwich is a unique barbershop, situated in the beautiful Golden Triangle.
What makes us different? Our location is unique in that there are no long queues, unlike city barbers, and we have parking literally outside the front door.
The name House of Handsome is inspired by our very own resident French Bulldogs, Frank and Fred. We are a dog friendly barbers and the shop regularly has visits from our clients 4-legged friends.
NEIL
"THE BOSS"
Neil is the shops owner and the most experienced barber with over 20 years experience. He has worked at various barbers in Norwich, as well as in Australia.
Neil, apart from barbering, enjoys whisky, spending time with his family and the shops Frenchies, as well as collecting watches.
GREGSON
MEN'S BARBER
Gregson is the newest member of the House of Handsome Norwich team and joins us on Sunday's at the shop. Also a graduate from The London School of Barbering, he is always perfecting techniques.
Gregson is also our resident magician and videos of his magic pop up on our social media pages most Sundays.
CRAIG
MEN'S BARBER
Craig, having worked with Neil previously, joins us after taking a break from barbering in Norwich. He has over 5 years experience and has even cut hair "Down Under" in Melbourne.
When he's not cutting hair, Craig can be found in the kitchen or out trying to set Strava segment records (unsuccessfully!) on his bike
WILL
SATURDAY HELPER
Coming to the shop originally for voluntary experience before applying to study Barbering at Norwich City College, Will has earned his keep and is now a permanent member of the team.
Good friends with Josh, Will like football and is a keen Norwich City fan.
FRANK
RESIDENT FRENCHIE
Frank is the oldest of the shops French Bulldogs and can usually be found sitting on the window or sleeping in the towel basket.
He loves nothing more than lots of fuss, 3 walks a day and an afternoon nap.
FRED
RESIDENT FRENCHIE
Fred is Frank's son, even though they are nothing alike. He likes to greet clients at the door with a bone or a pigs ear.
Fred isn't shy and normally sits on clients laps whilst they're getting their hair cut. Ask us about his Love Goose!
WE WON!
We are thrilled to have won the Uppercut Deluxe Barbers of the Month for July 2020!
This is a massive achievement for the shop as we were against hundreds of established and larger barbers. Our hard work over the past 2 years has really paid off and we are delighted to have been chosen to win.
